New to volunteer certification? Get help and have fun! Two sessions to choose from: Bring a laptop or tablet to pool. Training material will be reviewed and online tests will be taken for your choice of positions: Runner If this is all old-hat to you, you can do your certification anytime on SAIL's website. If you need it, SAIL has review material. RSVP and indicate in the comment which session you will attend. |

Calling all Guppies! Swim assessment is for all 8 and under swimmers who have never been on Big Swim Team. Assessed swimmers who can complete a 25 free and 25 back make it to Big Swim Team - otherwise, Guppies is the place to be! Guppies can move up to Big Swim Team any time during the season - as soon as they are ready. |

New Swimmer Birth Certificates Due
Copies of birth certificates for ALL NEW SWIMMERS must be on file for SAIL. You can bring them to the assessment/registration event on May 2nd between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, you can bring them to any practice before May 28th, or you can mail them to Megan Shirley 28 Lake Forest Dr. Greenville, SC 29609. Birth certificates must be on file by May 28th. |

Awards and Boat Race Day

Thursday is our final day of the season. All 10 and under swimmers should arrive at 8am. We would also like if all parents stayed for the first hour of awards. 8-8:30am awards for swimmers 8:30-8:40 Boat Race Fun Swim until 10am 8-10 am We will have a food truck, The Pound Cake Man at the pool. All swimmers and family will be able to get a free pound cake. We love our Stingrays! 11 and over swimmers and Family please arrive by 7pm on Thursday 7-7:30 Awards 7:30-7:40 Boat race 7:40-9:00pm Free Swim 7:00-9:00 pm Pink Mamas food truck will be at Stone Lake. All swimmers and family please enjoy a treat on us. We love our Stingrays. |

Cardboard Boat Building
Stone Lake Pool
Every team will be building a cardboard boat. They will get 2 rolls of duct tape, 4 noodles and two boxes. Please send in additional supplies of cardboard or tape to your team. We do ask that parents don't physically help build the boat. We like to leave this up to the kids and coaches to construct. There is one rule with the race this year- The team must build a paddle to race the boat. Kicking and arm paddling will not be permitted. We ask that all kids wear a mask during boat building time.
